About Sàhd the label:

Welcome to SÁHDTHELABEL, where luxury meets artistry in every stitch and where fashion becomes a gateway back to joy, creativity, and comfort. Our handmade crochet pieces are designed to help you reconnect with your inner child, bringing a sense of playfulness, imagination, and nostalgia into your everyday wardrobe.

At SÁHDTHELABEL, we believe growing up doesn’t mean your inner child has to disappear. That magical part of you still deserves to be seen, celebrated, and expressed. That’s why we created what we like to call The Playground Closet, a whimsical world within SÁHDTHELABEL where imagination comes alive and self expression runs free.

We like to think of it as a place where your clothes feel like your favorite toys: vibrant, fun, comforting, and full of wonder. Just like the childhood closets we once played dress-up in, The Playground Closet is filled with joy, personality, and the freedom to be whoever you want to be bold, soft, loud, cozy, colorful… or all of the above.

Many of our designs are inspired by the carefree moments from my own childhood—bright colors, soft textures, and playful patterns that made me feel alive and free. Each piece is thoughtfully made to bring those feelings back—not just visually, but emotionally and physically too.

Our yarns are intentionally chosen—think soft teddy textures and soothing stitch patterns—to create a sensory experience that calms the mind and comforts the heart. When you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious, simply running your fingers along the stitches can bring a moment of peace—a little reminder that you’re grounded, safe, and not alone.

At SÁHDTHELABEL, yarn is more than just material, it’s memory, therapy, and connection. Whether you're dressing for joy, for healing, or just to feel more you, we’re here to help you feel seen, comforted, and empowered.

This isn’t just a brand, it’s a feeling. A world. A movement. One that reminds you that fashion can be healing, comfort can be bold, and your imagination never had to grow up.

Step into The Playground Closet.
Come as you are, and let your inner child play.

About The Founder:

My name is Sarah Ali. I am from New York. This is my journey rediscovering joy through crochet.

As a child, I was always drawn to the vibrant and playful things. I loved wearing bright colors and mixing different patterns, feeling like each outfit allowed me to step into a new character, much like the ones I admired in movies and shows. To me, fashion was a playground where colors and textures could transform anyone into a unique persona.

However, my style wasn’t always understood by everyone around me. Despite the puzzled looks and occasional comments, I held onto a deep-seated belief that one day, my diverse sense of fashion would make perfect sense—not just to me, but to others as well.

Life took its twists and turns, and during some particularly dark times, I felt a strong need to reconnect with the playful spirit of my younger self. In my quest to rediscover who I was, I turned to crochet. The moment I picked up the crochet hook and yarn, I was transported back to those carefree days of childhood, where creativity knew no bounds.

Crochet became my sanctuary, a way to channel my inner child's joy and imagination into something tangible and beautiful. The same sense of wonder and excitement I felt as a child now helped me navigate adulthood. Through crochet, I found myself again and realized that my childhood passion could inspire others to embrace their own inner child.

As a vibrant and loud person, I wanted my work to reflect my personality. I create colorful, fun, and different pieces because that's what I see in my head. The same could be said for many creative people out there. My vision is to see people use my items to incorporate and express themselves through their own style.

At Sahdthelabel, I pour this rediscovered joy and creativity into every piece, hoping to inspire you to fearlessly express yourself and see the world with the same wonder and beauty that a child does. Let our crochet creations be a reminder that it's never too late to reconnect with your inner child and let your true self shine.
